Sahra joined the International Trade and Logistics team at Kneppelhout after obtaining her LL.M in Commercial and Company Law at Erasmus University.
Before studying at Erasmus University, Sahra studied law at Copenhagen University, focusing mainly on EU competition and state aid law. She also worked as a student legal assistant, where she gained knowledge and practical experience with various areas of Danish and EU law. During her LL.M studies at Erasmus University, Sahra became particularly interested in international commercial law and arbitration.
In the International Trade and Logistics team, Sahra assists both Dutch and foreign clients on contentious and non-contentious matters regarding international trade and sanctions.
These include advising on regulatory requirements, for example when selling products on the Dutch market or exporting certain goods, drafting commercial contracts, such as distribution agreements, and representing clients in proceedings.
Sahra is also the Young Professional’s representative for the Danish-Dutch Chamber of Commerce. Here she assists the Chamber with building and strengthening a good relation between Danish and Dutch companies in the Netherlands.
