Thijs completed the bachelor’s degree in Law at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. In 2021 he graduated in Maritime & Transport Law. During his bachelor he lived in Oslo (Norway) for half a year as an exchange student. Here he followed the subjects Human Rights Law, Comparative Private Law and European Competition Law.

At Kneppelhout he works in the practice area Real Estate and Environmental Law. What he likes best about the legal profession is finding solutions to problems that Kneppelhout’s clients encounter and really adding value for them.

In 2021, Thijs did a two-month internship at Kneppelhout. In early 2022, he responded to a vacancy and from March 2022 he is working at Kneppelhout in the department of Real Estate and Environmental Law.

Thijs likes to spend his free time sailing, running and skiing.
