ROTTERDAM – As of January 1, 2025, Elise Oonincx-Vreeburg has transferred her position as managing partner to Job Bezemer. Job now forms the new management team of Kneppelhout alongside Ingomar Souren.
From management to department development
After several years in management, Elise will fully focus on further developing the Employment Law department within Kneppelhout. “It was a wonderful experience to be part of the management team and contribute to the strategic growth of Kneppelhout. What made it extra special was collaborating with such a dedicated and committed team. However, I now look forward to concentrating on the substantive aspects again.”
Technology as a key focus
Job, who has been with Kneppelhout since September 1, 2015, succeeds Elise as managing partner. He is a partner in the Corporate Law department and the China Practice, primarily focusing on mergers & acquisitions and corporate disputes. “I am honored to co-lead our firm alongside Ingomar. Kneppelhout has made significant strides in recent years, and I see it as my duty to continue this trajectory.”
Job has a strong interest in technological developments and sees substantial opportunities for the legal profession in his regard. “The legal world is evolving rapidly, with technology playing an increasingly pivotal role. For example streamlining processes, better utilization of data, or enhancing client experiences. I believe that through smart innovations, we can not only work more efficiently but also serve our clients more effectively.”
His focus will be on leveraging technology to make Kneppelhout future-proof. “My ambition is to explore and harness technological possibilities with our team. In doing so, we not only foster our own growth but also remain a partner that adapts with the times.”
