Marleen completed her Bachelor’s degrees in Law and Business Administration at Erasmus University. She then pursued both the Master’s in Construction Law and the Master’s in Leadership & Change Management at VU Amsterdam. During her studies, she worked at a consultancy and engineering firm as a strategic and legal advisor, where her passion for construction law first emerged.

This experience not only gave Marleen legal expertise but also a strong understanding of how projects develop on both a strategic and technical level. Marleen is a member of the Dutch Association for Construction Law and the Association of Young Real Estate Lawyers.

Marleen works in the Property and Environmental Law department, where she is part of the property law team. Within this team, she primarily focuses on construction law.

In her free time, Marleen enjoys travelling, cooking and boxing. She can also regularly be found on the golf course at weekends.
