Ingomar is a lawyer in heart and soul. After completing his law studies, he started his career in 1995 with volunteer work for refugees. After working as a company lawyer and as a trainee court judge, he was sworn in as a lawyer in 1999. Since then he has been able to pour all of his passion and experience into aiding his clients. Concise and practical if possible but extensive and cutting edge if necessary.

Since 2008 he has been a partner at Kneppelhout and head of the Real Estate and Government Team. He is primarily engaged with issues in areas that include public procurement, building law, rent law as well as various contracts in these fields, including public-private partnerships and state aid. Ingomar Souren has been involved in major (re)development projects. His clients are amongst all parties involved, i.e. government, project developers, social housing institutes, investors and landowners. Ingomar teaches Administrative Law for the professional study program for lawyers.

I am sincerely interested in construction and real estate. I am a member of various property networks and I have been involved in a large number of development projects in Rotterdam and its surrounding areas. This enables me to join my thinking with the client’s along very practical lines. I like to focus on solutions instead of problems.
