William entered employment at Kneppelhout as a lawyer in 2010. Prior to this, he worked for a year and a half as a legal employee at the Court in Dordrecht. William conducts a litigation and advisory practice focused on property law in the widest sense. He is specialised in building law and rent law. He also manages the sector group Building & Infrastructure (Bouw & Infrastructuur).

Among his clients are professional and private clients, contractors, architects, housing corporations, investors and property managers. He assists them with advice on (the creation of) building and lease contracts and general conditions such as the UAV 1989/2012, UAV-GC 2005, AVA 1992, DNR 2005/2011 and RAW 2005/2010.
