Soltana completed her bachelor’s degree at Erasmus University and went on to obtain her Master of Laws (specializing in Civil Law and Employment Law) at Leiden University. During her studies, she gained experience in the legal profession and was actively involved as a volunteer at Stichting Rechtswinkel Rotterdam for several years. She also completed internships at small and mid-sized law firms.

In 2024, Soltana successfully completed the Grotius Employment Law specialization program. Additionally, she is a member of the VJAA (Association of Young Employment Law Lawyers), VRAA (Association of Rotterdam Employment Law Lawyers), and VAAN (Association of Employment Law Lawyers in the Netherlands).

Soltana first met Kneppelhout during her student internship. From the first moment she felt at home at the office and knew that she wanted to work at Kneppelhout. Once she concluded her internship and graduated, she began her career as an attorney at Kneppelhout.

Soltana works in the Employment Law department, where she deals with all aspects of Employment Law.

• Advising on and interpreting various collective labor agreements
• Advising on reaching amicable settlements with employees and preventing dismissal procedures
• Litigating before various judicial authorities and the Employee Insurance Agency (UWV)
• Advising on international employment relations
• Advising on incapacity for work and the reintegration of employees

Soltana enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. She also enjoys travelling and good food.
